This car is amazing on all levels. Sport look, luxury style, great drive and handling and most people can't take their eyes off it.

I took this car for a test drive 3 days ago at our local dealer while my Ioniq was in for an oil change. The interior space and comfort of the seats is truly impressive. Far more passenger and driver space than most SUV's of any size. The controls and performance are nearly perfect for this price point on the MSRP. The Salesman mentioned all Hyundai dealers offer free charging at the Dealer charging station. I asked to see the station and found that 2 stations were in the Service Department locked away. One lone outside station was blocked, ICEd, by a customer service vehicle waiting on out of stock parts leaving no way to charge customer Ioniq 5's for days or weeks. The dealer addon's totaled $14,400 for an SE RWD bringing the price close to $60K. Porsche, BMW, Mercedes, Audi, and Lexus territory. Total USA dealer sales last month was just over 1 per dealer at around 980 vehicles. If that is the grand introduction, then sales are going to be pitiful. When I bought my 2019 Ioniq, the dealer sales staff did not want to show me the vehicle while pushing ICE big iron. They only relented when I walked out. The car is the most stylish of all the EV's I have seen with serious tires for handling. I live in Central Florida and drive 97 miles daily to work. That will require charging every 2 days with modest A/C usage. The nearest Class 3 charger is 34 miles South or 36 miles North so the loss of the dealer charging station breaks the deal on top of the insane price escalation.
      • Poor quality and reliability

Very cheaply made vehicles. I, personally wouldn't recommend this. It's new under warranty, but continues to liyin the shop. Absolutely the worst vehicles out there. Stop being eye blinded by looks. JD power and CP Value Estimator shows these are at the bottom of the list for terrible resale value.
