Styling
Style updates came for both the interior and exterior of the new Santa Fe, giving it a more upscale look and a cohesive design that's bound to turn heads. While still recognizable as a Hyundai vehicle, thanks to a cascading grille and modern, narrow headlights, the subtle sculpting, high beltline and balanced proportions blend these bold features into a profile that's both classic and fresh.
Inside, this vehicle favors contemporary themes with a multi-tiered dash, a high-mounted infotainment systemÂ
Safety and Technology
The Santa Fe now comes with an array of advanced safety features, such as automated emergency braking, lane-keep assist, lane-departure warning, driver-attention warning and rear cross-traffic alert. Two unique safety features for the Santa Fe are the Safe Exit Assist, which keeps the doors locked if a vehicle, motorcycle or cyclist are approaching from the rear, and the Rear Occupant Alert system, which uses a sensor to detect movement from a child or pet from the backseat.
For technology, the standard infotainment system for all models includes a 7-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone integration. A Qi wireless charging pad and speed-sensitive volume control are also included, which improve the connectivity and driving experience in the Santa Fe.
The infotainment system is compatible with many music streaming apps, which are enhanced by the premium, 630-watt QuantumLogic surround-sound system with 12 speakers. Clari-Fi technology is also included with this system, which restores the sound quality of digitally-altered music for improved clarity.
