2017 Hyundai Santa Fe SE Trim Level
The base trim of the Santa Fe family is the 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe SE. Equipped with a 3.3L V6 engine, this vehicle can produce up to 290 horsepower. It also features a standard six-speed automatic transmission with SHIFTRONIC and Active ECO System to help it achieve up to an EPA-estimated 25 mpg highway. On top of that, the Santa Fe SE comes with an available all-wheel drive system for added performance capabilities in rain, snow, and any other types of difficult terrain.
In addition to a great powertrain, you'll also find tons of standard features for the base SE trim. For example, it's equipped with a seven-inch display audio system with HD Radio and Android Auto for entertainment. It also comes with seating for up to seven passengers, dual automatic temperature control, and an eight-way power driver seat with four-way power lumbar support.

The 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe Limited has most of the same features included in the base trim as well as the same performance options. On top of that, it also comes standard with all the amenities offered for the Premium Package.
The only real difference between this trim and the base trim is the seating capacity. The 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe Limited only has room for six passengers, but that's because it comes with premium second-row captain's chairs.
2017 Hyundai Santa Fe SE Ultimate Trim Level
The 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe SE Ultimate shares the same performance features and interior design as the base trim. Like the Santa Fe SE, the SE Ultimate trim has seating for up to seven passengers and comes with the same V6 engine, transmission, and available all-wheel drive system.
In terms of features, the Hyundai Santa Fe SE Ultimate is equipped with all of the amenities listed for the Limited trim. Plus, it also comes with an upgraded sound system, an eight-inch touchscreen navigation system, and a 115-volt power outlet in the cargo area. A heated steering wheel, heated second-row seats, and ventilated front seats are standard amenities for the Santa Fe SE Ultimate as well.

That means that the Santa Fe Limited Ultimate offers room for six passengers.
The Santa Fe Limited Ultimate comes with additional amenities, too. This includes premium exterior door trim with silver-painted accents and a panoramic sunroof.
